Qld combined areas Monto Rally 23 - 25 August 2024
The Queensland based VJMC Monto Rally is getting close (six weeks to go), it is being run on the weekend of August 23rd to 25th 2024. The event is a collaboration between the Mackay, Sunshine Coast and SE Queensland areas. Monto is a rural town in cattle country in the North Burnett Region, inland from Bundaberg, approximately 500 kilometres northwest of Brisbane, 200 kilometres south of Rockhampton. The event was originally envisioned to support the local area during the Covid crisis, when state tourism dried up.
There are no fees for either the rally or the bike show but if you are attending, please let us know you are coming for catering purposes, and where you are staying. Email: SEQueensland@vjmc.org.au
August is normally one of the best times of year to ride in Queensland with temps in the mid 20’s and cool but not cold nights, and rainfall is at its lowest before the usual spring and summer storms.
