2027 Young Restorers Award
The VJMC is thrilled to announce that the Young Restorers Award returns in 2027! This initiative is designed to support and inspire young people who are restoring or preserving a historic Japanese motorcycle.
If you’re mentoring, assisting, or simply know a young person working on an older Japanese bike project, now is the perfect time to encourage them to apply. With five awards being presented in 2026, there's a great opportunity for you to secure one of these grants!
Five awards of $500 are available each year. Applicants may be up to 30 years of age.
Each award provides $500 toward their restoration project and includes one year of VJMC membership.
Awards are granted at the discretion of the VJMC National Committee, and applicants must meet the Award’s conditions and requirements.
