The VJMC is excited to announce the Young Restorers Award will continue for 2025! This award is to help foster and encourage young people in the restoration and preservation of an historical Japanese motorcycle.

If you know a young person who has an older Japanese motorcycle project they are working on - encourage them to apply now!

There are five awards of $500 each available each year.

Applicants can be up to 30 years of age.

Each Award is a grant of $500 to support the restoration of a motorcycle project and includes a year’s membership of the VJMC.

Awards are presented at the discretion of the National Committee of the VJMC, and applicants should meet the conditions and requirements of the Award.

Applicants are encouraged to complete a video entry submission or the entry can be completed on this form. Applicants should apply to the VJMC National Committee by January 31st each year and previous unsuccessful applicants may reapply (the same project bike may be used).

Applications can be submitted by email to secretary@vjmc.org.au for consideration by National Committee members. Submissions will be assessed by the National Committee and the awardees notified in time to allow presentation of the award at the VJMC Rally in March 2025.

Thank you for your interest in applying for the VJMC Young Restorers Award. We wish you all the best in your application.
