I used to ride my mate's brand new S2A before I got my license and loved it. Decided to find one to restore back in 1988. I started restoring it in my kitchen. Got most of it done, but life got in the way and I never managed to finish it, and it just followed me around from house to house. In 2021, I thought it's time to finish it. Just took 33 years to restore, but it's finally done. |

Purchased from pics only as a "Spares Bike" online from NJ, USA. Shipped to Australia and was very surprised to find out it only had 5000 miles on it and it was extremely original, although be it rusty and deteriorated. Original Kawasaki Warranty Card, receipt, owners manual, tools, even the original front tyre! I couldn't ride it in its state so made the decision to do a partial restore on it, rims, new spokes, chome guards, bars, etc. respray on spare body set. Before and after pics supplied. |

Owned since 2000, was my daily ride which required a crank up engine rebuild. This gave me the opportunity to revitalise the bike in my image. In 2006, every seal on the entire bike replaced, every bolt polished or chromed, every panel painted, only outsourcing panel, paint and crank repair. 18yrs later, doing it all again with a little more finesse. |

Purchased bike from a fellow club member earlier in the year as a project bike. Was very rundown but complete with only the period Pipeline exhaust not factory. Bike had not been run for around 8yrs. After some long days and late nights this Australian Delivered 85 FZ750 is once again cruising the Streets and Backroads of NSW as it was built to do. Fun Fact: The FZ750 won the Castrol Six Hour on Debut with Supercar Driver Broc Feeny's Dad Paul onboard! Also one the following year with Kevin Magee and Mike Dowson. |

This bike belonged to Peter Jones - ex Australian Champion. Here is a bit of the story as told by Peter: "Anyway working for Melbourne Motorcycles I had the opportunity to build the T500 racer using either the frame from the first T500 (Cobra) or the second generation T500 II, now looking at the specifications I could see the fork angle of the Cobra was more in line with the Manx so I chose that frame. Also using the Manx as guide I used the std T500 front forks but filled the forks with 90 grade or mixture so that the dampening was as close to a Max that I could get, of course this was a static test just holding the front brake on & pushing the forks down & seeing how they returned. The rear suspension was, in hindsight, very strange, but true. Melbourne Motorcycles had a dealer in Cheltenham, Bill Ford, who did a bit of racing on a T20, anyway he purchased a barrow load of Girling rear shocks ( Im not kidding, I saw the barrow filled with Girling shock absorbers) that were from a sale of items relating to the failed Zeta car project back then. The eye to eye length worked out to be what I wanted, don't asked me how, I presume the same as a std T500, so I sorted through a lot & got two that I thought had good rebound dampening, then I think he had a batch of various rear springs made, perhaps for his T20, anyway I tried a few springs & the end result again was as I remembered the Manx, reasonably soft when you pushed down on the seat & slow return. Sounded a bit iffy at the time & more so looking back on it now, but the bike handled very well indeed" (Peter Jones) As the current owner am hoping to restore this to how it was when Peter raced it and take it back to the track. |

This is 'Zena' my dream bike from when i was 19. i purchased this bike in September 2020 as a bit of a project, although it did run. I have rebuilt the carbies and reinstalled the airbox and tidied it up. It loves the high revs and has a nice note at 8500rpm. Beautiful to ride, quick and nimble, definitely a favorite. |

Purchased this bike new in November 1967 for $707. Restorpation basically completed in 2008 but it has been on going since then. The highlight of our long association was probably a three week trip from Rockhampton in Queensland to Melbourne in January 1971 for our honeymoon. |

I saw this advertised and had to grab it! I have has this bike for 3 years and its a cracker to ride. it's often mistaken for the 1100 Katana as it look almost identical - even some part numbers are the same - it's a little 250 and is one of my favorite bikes to ride. I tidied this up and did a 'engine in' respray if the frame, resprayed the tank and tidied wiring, rebuilt the forks and brakes and replaced missing bolts etc, she runs like a dream. |

My uncle bought this Katana new in Mildura, I fell in love with it as a 15 year old when I first saw it. He dismantled it to restore it (which never happened). The bike was sold in boxes and reassembled by someone else, who wanted more of a cruiser and sold it. My aunty rang me about the sale so I went to Mildura and bought it 25 years ago. It was a daily rider for several years, kids came along and it was parked up for many years. Over a 12 month period during COVID it had a total rebuild, including engine. |

The RD400 was originally my father's brothers bike that he brought 2nd hand. It hadn't run since about 1991 or 92 and I took it off my father's hands roughly in 2003 and carted it around qld for many years say that I would restore it to its former glory. Finally after 30 odd years it lives and breathes again in near original condition except for a set of higgspeed pipes and a powerdynamo ignition system. The RD starts first kick every time and takes pride of place in the front entrance of my house and makes me smile every day. |

Lady was purchased as a birthday-present in August 1986 by the owner for himself. Over the coming 14 years 'Lady' did manage to get 22,000 kms under her belt riding through the picturesque landscapes of Switzerland, Italy, Hungary, Austria, Germany France, and Spain including the island of Ibiza. 'Lady' created countless and priceless memories characterized by fun and adventure during this time. She loved to carry its owner together with his wife, or on alternating dates, their three kids In September 2000 'Lady' moved as personal removal goods from Switzerland to Australia in a 40 foot container. Due to lack of time and business commitments 'Lady' got stored in various sheds in Werribee, Gisborne and Mount Macedon for the next 22 years. Mid 2022 her owner took her to ACE-Motorcycles in Heidelberg. Geoff treated her with respect, knowledge, and passion and after a few months of much LT&C she got her road-worthy in January 2023 and her 'Blue-Sticker' from JAX Garage early February 2023. Since than she creates again fantastic riding memories in the beautiful land Down Under. |

This is Rhonda, I purchased her from Classic Style Victoria in March 2017. I paid $3950 delivered to me in NSW. She was rough, came from Minnesota in the USA with 14289 very hard miles on the clock. As you can see in the 1st image she was semi chopperised. I wanted a project and she fit the bill needing a complete nut bolt resto, there is not a nut bolt or part on her that I have not touched, fettled in some way. I tried to return her to original condition as I could with only the pipes being the standout anomalie. Long story short and $24k later she was registered in October 2019 and I have put 3775 trouble free miles on her. Love the look and sound of the 70s superbike. |

I purchased the KDX new in 1986 from Frankston Kawasaki. At the time it was a superseded model and cost $1995 on the road (big investment back then). Has done 6975 kilometers. All completly original excluding front direction indicators and the normal wear and tear items such as chain, sprockets & tyres. Only recently replaced the piston and rings for first time in 38 years! Great bike and still fun to ride. |

The FZR1000 is a bike I always liked the look of, when this bike came up for sale my wife thought it would be the perfect wedding present. Took it for a test ride and the bike was running rough, had been sitting with fuel in the tank for sometime. Got it home and started stripping it down, the inside of the tank was coated in scale and filter was partially blocked. CLR, warm water and a pressure wash cleaned it up well. Then a full carb clean,rebuild kit and balance had the FZR humming again. The EXUP valve need attention along with servo adjustment. Full service and fluid change and now many miles of smiles. |

I have owned this machine since the mid 80s has been through a few different lives, started lifeas a drag bike and competed in modified bike. She was run at afew drag strips around NSW including Castlereagh and Canberra! that time she was running a big block 1454cc with a Turbo,Car rear tire and wheelie bars... she ran 10.30 second pass at 145mph. still running the cases and crank! gears are N at the bottom and 5 up! the bike was built By Joe Marshel. has a few trophies, last one was 1986 at the uphill drags inCanberra. thebike was then put back one the road! it is still registered and enginnered with the turbo. although it now sits on my shelf in the shed! she is now painted and restored by me in winning green! |
