The VJMC is a worldwide club with 4 separate branches in North America, the UK, Australia and New Zealand that keep in contact by exchanging newsletters.
Some enthusiasts are members of more than one branch of the VJMC. This website provides information on our club and provides access to club portal for our members.
Objective - To foster the preservation, restoration, riding and enjoyment of ownership of Japanese motorcycles more than 15 years old.
The Australian branch is a non-profit community association operated by a committee of volunteers in an informal and friendly manner. The VJMC is now incorporated in NSW
The work of operating the VJMC Australian branch is carried out by unpaid volunteers under the auspices of the VJMC - Australian National Committee, currently located in the Hunter Valley, NSW.
All VJMC Clubs have the common aims of fostering the restoration and riding of older model Japanese Motorcycles. The Clubs keep in contact by exchanging Newsletters and other means to keep informed about activities in other countries. Membership of more than one VJMC Club is not uncommon
The Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club has secured the support of one of the “Big Four” Japanese manufacturers/distributors for its National Rally, to be held in Victoria’s picturesque YarraValley in April next year.
Suzuki Australia Pty Limited will be naming rights sponsor of the Suzuki-VJMC National Rally 2009, to be held on the weekend of April 4-5 at Healesville, north-east of Melbourne.
